Miami Vice, the definitive show of the 80's.
So, along with SWAT, I purchased most of the first season of Miami Vice off of iTunes, save for one episode they didn't have.
I am pretty fully ready to proclaim this one of the greatest shows EVER made.
It's hilarious, it's gripping, it's awesome.
It's also got a lot of stars before they were big stars. So far I've seen Bruce Willis, Ving Rhames, Joe Morton, Pam Grier, Edward James Olmos, John Turturro and one of my personal favorite semi-unknowns, Kieth Szarabajka. And that's just in the first season, that I've seen. And that's just the guest stars.
It's produced by Michael Mann, of Heat fame. So it's pretty gun-tastic.
One of my favorite gun moments in the fifth episode, The Hit List. An assassin, played by competition shooter Jim Zubiena, blasts away some people with a shotgun, then gets held up, and draws a 1911 and fires 3 shots in under 3 seconds. Badass.
I'll write up more when I finish the season.
