what kind? the simple stuff with flash or the advanced stuff with 3ds max and such?

Yeah, making animations can be both fun and hard to do at times. Tho making them with Macromedia Flash is a good way to learn the basics of animation. All you need is, like the person before me said, a lot of patience as you construct the objects, or figures, used in your animations. You'll also will be making each action as well, but it isn't too hard to learn... at times lol.

But I do have one question... what is 3ds Max? o_o

I'd like to do some animation of my own, should I or should I not? Wait don't answer that - rhetorical - can you point out a few basic software downloads to get me started? And then maybe a few advanced software...when I get the hang of it?
