I encourage your efforts but I would disagree on the programs. They simplify things but don't make them easier. I'm currently working with Auto Desk Maya and Photoshop and it's far from easy.

I'm not saying not, just saying be prepared to work hard. ^_^ Oh, and good luck!

i'm quite a new in this field too. I just do stick animations is flash or Adobe Illustrator for the fun of it. But as a career i think i'll pass

Those are great for getting started!! That is what I used to do before I got into making AMVs. I'm currently in the process of creating a Big O AMV using Train's "Ordinary" song from Spider Man 2. I'll post a link on here to my video on Youtube when it's complete.

I'm sad that 2D animation seems to be dieing.. ;__;
Although, flash animations are gaining more and more ground.

I think if you want to be an animator.. 3D or flash are the way to go right now.

I'd have to admit, when I first started out, I was horrible... I really mean horrible. But I kinda got better now, especially with my "Ed Edd n Eddy Hell" video. I'd have to say that that was my best so far.

im part of a amatuer manga team and i really enjoy working on our projects and our animation team ( im not in that bit xD) we work hard i guess im just in love with drawing

i'm working on getting an animation BFA, if that counts...
hoping to get an intership with PIXAR... but that's a long shot away.
