Parents havent really said much, but they hate it. they think that its bad for my brain and im too obsessed with it... oh well, screw them... ANIME ROCKS!

My mom knows that I really like it, and she doesn't really seem to do anything...in fact, she seems to be kind of amused by my watching it. My dad dropped me off at my first con a while back. I didn't cosplay or anything, but can you imagine his face when he drops his child off at a place where people dressed up like Sephiroth and the entire cast of Naruto are casually standing around like it's nothing? Yeah, he thought that it was kind of weird. My parents are kind of indifferent towards it, but then again, all they have ever seen with me is the watered down versions of DBZ and Naruto that they show here in the States. If they saw some of the other anime, then I know that my mom would be a bit concerned b/c she doesn't like me filling my head with all those images that might corrupt my young mind.

my parents have to approve everything.....so i tell them about the shojo, and keep the shonen stuff i watch a secret. even if its only naruto.

My parents don't really care. They think I'm old enough to judge right from wrong for myself and that anime can't really have much of an influence on my mentality at this point in my life.

one of my friends who like yaoi was telling me the awkwardness in describing to your father what yaoi is..... lol.

My parents had diffren treactions for diffrent occations. They didn't mind when I was watchi Kawaii anime.
But one day,I wan right in the middle of watching and episode of Kannazuki no Miko. Just as the the two (female0 characters kissed, my mom walked in. When she saw what was on the screen, she saiid, (for lack of better terms) "What the $*% are you watching!?" It took me a good 20 minutes to dig myself out of that one.
