How old were you when you started to get into anime?

I was 15 when I read my first graphic novel - which was anime. I was 16 when I saw Inuyasha for the first time. The story was interesting and I got myself and my aunt hooked on it.

I dont know how old I was when I was really getting into anime, I mean, it just sort of came to me. I guess after I saw Ninja Scroll in 7th grade, I kept looking for more of this "japanese animation".

The first anime I ever saw was Vampire Hunter D. and I was only in elementary school. I never saw anything so cool. but to me, it was just a really cool cartoon at the time. I didnt think anything japanese about it.

To my most accurate recollections, I was about 4 or 5 years old when first viewed my first anime, Bio Booster Armor Guyver. Of course, at that point I was, in fact, unaware of what "anime" was. I "got into" anime itself when I was about 7 with Tenkuu no Escaflowne. Thus, in response to your original inquiry, 7.
I conclude my post by stating that Bio Booster Armor Guyver is a mystifyingly under-rated anime.

I was 5 years old when I watched Sonic Satam....and if it doesn't count as an anime (some count it, some don't...) then, it would be...Cowbnoy BeBop at the age of 8(what an opening, huh '')

i think i was like 10... pokemon started to come up... if you can call it an anime... it was fun watching the episodes while i was little... now i just play the games... lol

pokemon was the first anime i ever watched, i guess i was only like 8 or 9 at the time. but in the last couple years i've been watching a LOT more.
